Cancer screening should be a regular part of your life!
Cancer screenings are helpful tools to use before symptoms develop and help find cancer early, when it may be easier to treat. It’s a good idea to talk to your doctor about risk factors, such as lifestyle behaviors and family history that may put you or your loved one at higher risk.
Visit cancer.org/get-screened for cancer screening FAQs, including information about how to schedule a screening test, how to afford screening with or without insurance, and more.
TIP OF THE MONTH
ICUBA’s medical plans cover diagnostic and preventive mammograms at 100%!
You don’t have to pay your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum when receiving a mammogram from an in-network provider. This is not typical for most insurance plans.
If your provider asks for payment, remind them that your mammogram is covered at 100% by your plan and instruct the provider to call the number on the back of your BCBS ID card.
Order free COVID-19 Tests at the end of September!
ICUBA provides our required annual notices electronically to eligible plan members when they have work-related computer access. The links to the annual notices are sent to the email address on record with your employer. If you do not have work-related computer access, annual notices will be sent via US Mail unless you opt-in to review the notices electronically.
Every member of ICUBA enrolled in a healthcare plan has the right to request a paper copy of the annual notices at any time and may opt-in or opt-out of reviewing the annual notices electronically by visiting www.icubabenefits.info/consent.
